Book sale, something regular at that particular place. On occasion there's a guy selling old and interesting stuff. He wanted to sell me a Smena 8m, but I already had one. ;)
Note to self, scan lomo negatives.
On the way to the station.
I lent my SRT201 body to my friend, a 28 and a 80-200, I was using my usual 50/1.7 on a second body loaded with a roll of Delta100. I like delta and that fine grain. Unfortunately that was a first timer for the old beast and proved to be defective.
Thus why the negatives were badly exposed. Notice the overexposed part on the left.
Old, abandoned train. I just had to check it out.
The paint was pealing off.
First glance inside.. what a mess. Its also good that photos don't capture smells. Thats the 28 btw.
Homies actually sleep here. I think I was desgusted rather than sad.
In any case, they are wearing Nike. ;)
Chopped off, I know.
I always thought about street, that the closer you get, the better. Now, I don't think its true. Thats too fucking up-close. I wanna see more of the environment. Learn, shoot, learn, shoot..
Looking back.
I like shooting over people's shoulder. You can read the horoscope on the original scan. ;)
Speaking of up-fucking-close. Thats a 50, not a 300, as some people advised me to shoot. Where's the fun in that? (:
Lines.
Again. I rarely shoot something twice. That 1 stop difference removes the third line. Scroll up and see. Still.. not too happy about both.
Thats me in the reflection.. size is too small though.
Krisz asked me how do I notice stuff like that.. She said she prefers to NOT to observe stuff, its easier that way. I don't agree. I like to. Its beautiful.
Just a thought.
Back in school. Workers getting machine coffee. Its better than the coffee from the bufe.. that really tastes like catpiss.
Loaded a Tmax 400. We don't get Tri-X here. Most shops haven't even heard about it.
Thats my literature teacher. She's good. In fact, I think she is really good. At what she does. And she is checking out the little exhibition put together from the photo contest entries, all from our school.
Won 2nd place in portaiture btw. Bea and Tóni.
I like her work. If you checked out that link. I was surprized to find out that she doesn't use any photoshop in her work. She told me he removed a bit of dust in mspaint. ;)
I don't like manipulated stuff. Seems to be appreciated though. Also, I think flower photos and boring landscapes are for wanks who don't have the balls to shoot real people. I'm no pro but I don't think anyone would pay me for shooting their flowers. But run it through ps and 50 layers, that will earn you a few brownie points. ;)
Some of you know where I'm pointing with this. Its ok. In fact, the point of the paragraph.
History teacher, pointing out some errors in a pp slideshow. I used to be very bad during her classes. :) She on the right.. like a ghost. The surprize of randomness.
They are having their picture taken. By someone who wanted me to shoot the teacher vs. student game(football). I kindly refused him, I won't shoot it with a ps instead of my 80-200 and a roll of nice color film. Would have, but that just wasn't the time and the place.
Those are renaissance outfits. They looked good in them!
I don't see why people don't like her. She has her defects, just like everybody else, no?
I used to throw cigs in there too.. thats in the school bathroom. Not anymore. It has been 4 weeks. Yay!
I just needed the money and the energy. Trying to get my driving licence, Cambridge exams, quire, the school newspaper, drawing classes, drawing homework(a lot) really tie me down. And there's photography, too. At least I have an excuse as to why do I go to school to take some rest. Literraly.
I always keep what I like best last.. dunno why. I just like short dof and beautiful light.
Not much, I know.. but the past two weeks have been great. In 4 weeks: summer break. Which will either mean a lot of photography and partying, or lots of homework and a job to earn some money.
Hope this finds you well, cheers!
